Where the Model Railway Club I am Founder & Chairman of meets, the owner of the property has a 'G' gauge garden layout of some size, then when the warmer weather comes along, we get to operate that instead of all working on and/or operating 'The Club' layout.
In issue 150 of Garden Rail magazine, in fact on the cover, plus six pages inside, there are some pictures and a write-up about it. In fact regardless of the weather, every so often, we have a 'Steam-up' on a rolling road, instead of facing the elements. In time and when we have finished building 'The Club' current layout and made a start on the next and 'N' gauge, some of us are going to help alter the garden one and raise it up a bit, so as to make it easier for them to operate and save on the constant bending to put the rolling stock on the tracks everytime they wish to run it.
Keep Preservation Alive. Support Preservation as much as possible.
Very strange how there is now Very rarely a mention of this in the local press, apart from an Ex-Chairman who resigned, due to looking after his now Late wife who was Very ill, yet some joker...
I am very pleased to announce, that Mikkel has just arrived at platform......
I am so looking forward to meeting you all in time.
Sadly, I was 'Persuaded' to take early retirement 11 years...
