    59/0's were stars until they repainted them

    as the number of stars on the front related to the number of the loco.

    142 "Skippers" "Nodding Donkies"
    150 "Death Beds" "Stink Bombs" "Hospitals" hospitals was one i heard as when they were new they reeked of dissinfectant, too brightly lit, uncomfortable, and you'd be happiest after leaving one.
    151 "Hop Skip Jumps" a name i made up for them they were 3 car pacers look like nothing else on the railway extremely ugly.
    153 "Brick" "Double Trouble" "Divorcees - Cause they kept splitting hahaha"
    154 " as the 150 as 150001 and 150002 were 154001 and 154002 when new "
    155 "Leylands" i really dont know they never lasted long.
    156 "Super Sprinters" they were you cant fault them.
    158 "Coffins" probably the most successful units released since the first gen DMU's
    MY life!! i live in Limbo, I ran awayfrom reality the minute i learnt about it.

    It all depends on where you come from and what traction you like. 47 followers wouldn't be seen dead saying 'Duffs' just like 31 men would never say 'Peds'. Each to their own.
