Kirkby Stephen slide shows+ new book

Hi all,
I am a volunteer at K.S.E.,if anybody is interested there will be a slide show at:kirkby stephen church hall on 27th October 2007 at 19.30,entitled "Amberdale-the smallest dale" this is a slide show all about one mans 40 years of work, its more than a model railway its the whole dale,you are taken on a journey by train,horse and air(its set in 1890s).This is one for the whole family
"Kirkby Stephen East-a station remembered" is a brand NEW book all about K.S.E. its people,locos and history.It has been written by one of our volunteers Kieth Richardson,price £8.95,come along and get one and you might meet the author,or get in touch and we will send you one £10.00.
All proceeds from slide shows and books will go towards the restoration of K.S.E.

Good news the slideshows are now back on
The first will now be on 24th november 2007,Stainmore-slides of the late John Birbeck,also we have moved venue to the methodist hall,near the spar shop,approx 600 yards from Kirkby Stephen East towads Kirkby,please keep looking at my website for further details for this and other slideshows.Hope to see some of you there

Just a quick reminder that the slideshow is ON at Kirkby stephen on sat night,19.30 start time,+free raffle.(November 24th). Also Santa will be visiting K.S.E. on saturday December 1st from 10.00am along with "Jones the steam" Ivor's fireman,see website for further details.

The next Kirkby slideshow is on feb16th and is a "bring your own slides" night,we are trying somthing different this time, just bring along slides of anything you like,dosnt have to be railways! (Follow the Kirkby link below for times and venue or feel free get in touch)Hope to see you all there.
