Happy 2009 and Forum Boost?

May I be the first to wish you all a Happy 2009 and let us hope that we will have a good year to follow our favourite pastime. I am sure many of you will be out and about at stations or linesiding - so why not make a note of your observations and your experiences and post them here. The forum is very short of discussion points and news items and your contributions would be a tremendous boost. We are a nationwide group, so there must be news and views from all over - some of you even go overseas - so please send us a report of the trip. There is always a lot happening not only on the network but in the heritage movement as well - for example, the Welsh Highland Railway will be open for business later in 2009 - there are numerous galas happening in 2009 with guest appearances of locos in unusual locations! I am sure that Andy will allow contributions on light rail or even the dreaded guided busways, not to mention rail conected ferry routes. I am sure we can get some lively debates going and new members as well. Hope you all have a great 2009 and many happy railway experiences.
