    Default Forum meet rules

    FORUM MEET RULES:

    WHETHER private or public, the following rules should be completely adhered to!

    1. ANYONE welcome to attend MUST be informed AT LEAST 5 days before the meet takes place

    2. People interested should be CONTINUOUSLY updated about ANY changes, extra stop off points and engineering works affecting service

    3. specific TIME, PLACE and INFORMATION about the meeting point should be given

    4. General Information, and lunch stops should be given

    5. Information about on the day ticket validity should be given

    6. NO matter how small or large the group you must abide by the law!!!

    7. Do not try to loose a member of the group!

    8. ALL information MUST be finalized AND DISTRIBUTED TO ALL people coming before the meet

    9. ALL people are entitled to their own DECISIONS if they WISH NOT TO or CANNOT make it.

    10. Atendees must understand what they have agreed to, and not what they specifically wanted to do unless asked or planned

    11. It is advised that the ORGANISER/s take the journey BEFORE the meet to confirm any details or information that should be noticed

    12. During the meet if you are told a certain instruction by a member of staff, OBEY IT because otherwise you are putting a bad name to all rail enthusiasts. Also, please make sure you obtain a copy of the National Rail guide for rail enthusiasts from myself of the original site, which at the moment i cannot remember

    13. If challenged about the meet by anyone, IMMEDIATELY report them via. PM IF they are a registered user of the site, if not, it is not under our control.

    14. If organising the meet, try to make it enjoyable for everyone

    15. ALTHOUGH it may seem difficult and or risky, PLEASE try and take photos of any vandals or attackers! DO NOT RELY ON THE FACT THEY MIGHT STAY ON THE TRAIN!!

    With all due respect, I left a church group two years ago because of RULES about what I do in my private life while with them. I suggest you change this to A Guide.
    Keep Preservation Alive. Support Preservation as much as possible.

    its more of a guide but then again the law is a set of rules and thanks to the law there arent so many burglaries and vandals and other such goings on, therefore it is nice to have a set of rules, bearing mind however i did write them when I was incharge of another forum in which we did have a rather daft user who would have caused a whole group to go to jail knowing them! So yes they are rather on the strict side.
