Rare Clock Stolen from MHR.
22nd March 2009
In a break-in at Alresford station last night the James Walker SR round head clock was stolen from the booking hall
MHR offers the reward of a Footplate (Advanced) Driving and Firing Experience to anyone giving information leading to its return.

Would I be right in thinking that this is quite unique and therefore wherever
it turns up easily recognisable.

Clock.
Yes, it would be easily recognised and BBC TV South gave it a good report. We are all looking on Ebay in case it comes up but the item has been registered as stolen and the railway auctions and other auction rooms have been notified.
