    Default Hallo!

    Hi,

my name is Kai. I am 32 and live in the near of Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony in Germany.

Mainly I am interessted in japanese (model)trains, special JR Kyushu, JR Freight and Enoden.
As contrast to it I decide my in Late 2007 for Uk as second theme.

I like the heavy ones of the private era like 60, 66, 67, 92, ...

My actual models are (all N-scale)
    FRL 66 with HHA
    EWS 08
    EWS 60 with Taper PCA
EWS 66 with PCA and Cargowagon

In my UK holidays - my frist time on the island - I was falling in love with a Class 33 (002 Sea King) hat Buckfastleigh Shed, so I must have a look how to expand my collecting range

Some pictures and videos in the subs of this forum

My camera is a Canon PowerShot SX100 IS

    regards,
    Kai

    Hello,

Your photo collection of the UK is very good. You should come back and see some of the other Class 33's that are preserved in this country. I'm sure that you would enjoy them.

Welcome to the Forum. I will look forward in learning about your area of Germany. If you are ever in the south of England, I would be very pleased to meet you.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Sorry for answering so late but I am not a hardcore forum-user. Feel free to email me

Our next trip to Uk is planed for 2011. We are looking for a place to stay. Maybe we went to Exeter Region again, because we haven't seen all. Bristol and Bath are nice cities to visit, too.

Maybe some of you are planing a trip to germany, so let me know. I can help you t o find some nice spots for you.

    regards,

    Default UK

2011 is a definite date then - it will be good to meet up - UK is a large country with plenty of railway interest - my No. 1 line is the Watercress Line where I volunteer along with another forum member - James Paice.

Count me in for 2011 as well. Although I keep promising to do things but never get round to them.

Have the 76's left woodhead route yet!

I certainly wouldn't mind a trip to Germany

    Default Class 76.

The Class 76's have all now gone and the direct line from Sheffield to Manchester via Woodhead Tunnel long since closed.
