Hi all,

I'm thirdrail68. Iam 40 years old and I live in Poole Dorset with my lovely wife - we only got married in April 2008. I run my own business as an Apple Mac computer consultant and have been doing so for just over two years; times are tough but we're riding the storm and soon hope to expand.

My interest in railways stems from my childhood when I was given my Dads' model railway. It was mainly Triang and I still have it all to this day along with some additional Hornby stuff. One day I'll have space to set up a proper layout. My interest since has only been underlying but in the last couple of months for some reason I have dived headlong into railways and my interest is in old and new. I am also on the committee of the New Somerset and Dorset Railway, so my interest is also in the future of railways.

Welcome to the forum, and at last someone that really speaks my language!

The world of superior computers! Do you know anything about this new itablet(?) sounds interesting, and i think it will replace my macbook very nicely.
