    Default Upminster incident

I hope that everyone will join me in saying how disgusted i was when i viewed this. Behaviour by these "people" is apalling. I wonder if they are still in a job.

What I can't believe is that even when the guy on No12 says it is ok, the security guy still thinks he is right.

Hopefully someday, rail staff will have the rules on photography explained to them. Then we will be able to work together. If this goes on we will loose another basic freedom, to the looney brigades .

The best incident I ever saw was at Kings Cross, when a jobsworth told a photographer that he couldn't photograph a locomotive, the photographer turned round and told him to xxxxx off, if as a part owner of the locomotive I'll photograph it when and where I want, he wasn't lying either as it was 40 145 and he was a senior member of the class 40 preservation society.

Oh I do like that! To be fair some of these guys probably don't know any better. A lot of the problem comes from operators who don't like anyone to get anything for free. They only know money, not enthusiasts. The sad thing is enthusiasts can be a great asset, both in the amount of money they spend, and as an extra pair of eyes.
